Tsubasa Chronicles
Tsubasa Chronicles revolves around Sakura, the princess of Clow country. It is said that Sakura has a mysterious power and that it will one day change the world. Sakura is very passionate about her childhood friend, Syaoran, and loves him even though he is unaware of this. Syaoran, who is an archaeologist, is working on the Clow country ruins day and night. One day, Sakura decided to bring food to Syaoran at the ruins but as soon as she sees the symbol on the floor of the ruin, she is instantly pulled into a trance. Wings appear on her back and she starts to disappear into the symbol. Syaoran jumps up and grabs her before she disappears. Since he disrupts the process, Sakura’s feathers, which are her memories, are scattered across many different dimensions.
Yukito, the priest of the country, tells Syaoran that without her memories, Sakura will die. Yukito then sends Syaoran and Sakura to Yuuko, the dimensional witch, in order to find a way of recovering Sakura's memories and save Sakura from dying. When Syaoran arrives in front of Yuuko, he asks her to save Sakura and Yuuko touches Sakura’s forehead and tells Syaoran that she will die without her memories. All of a sudden, two other people arrive by Syaoran’s side. One by the name of Kurogane who wishes to return to his own country, Nihon, and Fay who wishes to go to another world in order to escape from his own.
Yuuko demands payment from the 4 travellers in order to grant their wishes. She receives Fay's Phoenix Tattoo, Kurogane's Sword and Syaoran has to pay with the relationship he had with Sakura. Yuuko gives the group a little creature by the name of Mokona Modoki to help them cross different dimensions.
Together, they must overcome many dangers and obstacles in order to retrieve Sakura’s feathers.
