Listed below are all the important items used or seen in Tsubasa Chronicles ranging from Sakura’s feathers to Kurogane’s Katana. All of these items are found at the beginning of the series or during the series in both the manga and anime.
Sakura's feathers
Sakura's feathers are actually memories that manifest themselves in the form of feathers. Without her feathers, she will die. Syaoran decided to sacrifice his own relationship with Sakura in order to find Sakura’s feathers. All of her feathers were scattered across time and space and Syaoran wishes to recover all of her feathers. All of Sakura’s feathers are white with a logo of a heart emblazoned on the front.
Fay's tattoo
Fay’s tattoo takes the form of a phoenix across his back. In order to pay for travelling to other worlds, he had to give his most precious thing to Yuuko, which was his tattoo. This tattoo was given to Fay by Ashura in order to suppress Fay’s magical powers and when Ashura dies, the tattoo will completely disappear. It was said that as Fay’s powers grew, the tattoo’s effect would weaken.
Fay's Staff
Fay uses his staff in order to travel to Yuuko’s place. It is a very ornate staff, which is golden and has blueish jewels around the head of the staff. The head of the staff looks somewhat like wings and has a large jewel in the centre of the head. In order to get into the castle in Koryo Country, Fay trades his staff with Yuuko.
Kurogane’s Katana
Kurogane’s Katana is called Ginryū and was a family heirloom. As Ginryū means Silver Dragon, the hilt of the sword takes the form of a dragon. Ginryū was used by his father in order to defeat the demons in Suwa but was unsuccessful and died at the hands of one of the demons. Kurogane went mad after seeing the severed hand of his father still holding Ginryū in one of the demon mouths. Kurogane asked for Tomoyo to bury Ginryū next to his mother’s grave and asked to have a replica of Ginryū made in order to fulfil his father’s wishes.
Clone Syaoran’s Sword (Hien)
Hien is Clone Syaoran’s sword that he obtains in Edonis Country in order for Kurogane to teach him swordmanship in order for Syaoran to become a lot stronger. Hien means Scarlet flame and is often seen being engulfed in flames. It also has a flame logo emblazoned on the hilt.
Syaoran’s Sword (Jian Sword)
Syaoran inherited this sword from his father, Syaoran Li that is the Syaoran from Cardcaptor Sakura. He has the ability to use the Shourai spells like his father although he can use more powerful spells as well. The sword looks exactly the same as the Cardcaptor Sakura sword although Syaoran has the ability to remove the sword from his hand unlike his father.
