Chiharu and Yamazaki
Yamazaki and Chiharu are one of the many couples in Cardcaptor Sakura and they have both known each other since they were children. Ever since, they have become closer and closer to each other and even though Chiharu strangles Yamazaki, they are both very fond of each other. Yamazaki tends to tease Chiharu a lot although they are a very close couple and both adore each other.
Yamazaki enjoys telling lies and Chiharu is the only person that has the ability to see through his lies and tell her other friends that he is in fact lying. Chiharu normally ends up dragging Yamazaki away or smacking him.
In the anime, Chiharu is very close to Yamazaki but unlike the manga, they are not stated as a couple. Chiharu makes a teddy bear for Yamazaki and hopes that he will call it after Chiharu but he ends up saying that he will name it after his favourite snack although it turns out that he is only kidding.
Chiharu and Yamazaki tend to go out on dates quite often and are normally found around Tomoeda together. When Sakura is confused about her feelings towards Syaoran, she meets Chiharu and Yamazaki who are on a date. Yamazaki leaves Chiharu when he senses that Sakura wants to talk to her about Syaoran and wants some advice. He returns after Chiharu and Sakura’s conversation with some juice before Sakura walks off thinking about Chiharu’s advice.
